Clive Wright
Consultant - Mercer Consulting
Clive joined Mercer Human Resource Consulting in May 2001. He is a member of the Client Management Practice and is responsible for a portfolio of clients, and in particular the support that Mercer give on Human Capital projects and services.
Prior to joining Mercer Clive was Director, Compensation and Benefits for The BOC Group plc for 3 years, and fulfilled various senior HR roles for ICL for 12 years before that. He has therefore had extensive experience in HR, and has been fully involved in the development of HR and Remuneration strategies to support the corporate business strategy.
Clive is a Chartered fellow of the CIPD, has been a member for over 20 years and for the last 5 years has been Chair of the CIPD Reward Forum. He is also Chairman of the Compensation and Benefits Council of The Conference Board Europe and visiting Professor at London Metropolitan Business School.
He will be speaking to us about how reward links to employee engagement and talent attraction and retention, using some recent research from the CIPD to anchor this is fact as well as opinion.

This was my first event and I found the networking enjoyable. The presentation was interesting and presented me with various new statisitcs but I was familiar with the principles discussed from CIPD.
