The ever popular, and now annual, Employment Law Quiz.
The London HR Connection is delighted to announce the date for its ever popular, and now annual, Employment Law Quiz.
‘Contestants’ will have the opportunity to show off their knowledge of the latest hot topics in employment law at this lively and fun event which is being run by Liz Lang and Emily Bell, two senior employment law solicitors from leading law firm Bird & Bird. They will also lead the subsequent discussion session following the quiz.
In addition to the great networking opportunities at our monthly sessions, we try to use these regular events to help our members keep up to speed with the latest trends and issues in HR and related fields.
The quiz has been popular with our members as it’s an innovative and fun way to update your employment law knowledge. This is a good event for anyone interested in seeing for themselves how The London HR Connection operates and how it could add a new dimension to their professional lives.
The really good thing about these Employment Law Quizzes is that it doesn’t matter if employment legislation is not your area of expertise. No one is put on the spot and everyone leaves with a better understanding of what are the current key issues in the field of employment law.

A fun and interesting event which made us think about the application of employment law - much more interesting than a lecture on recent changes. Working in groups helped everyone learn from each other, too.

Very good format to the event, much better than just discussing legislative changes. Only comment is that it was dissapointing to lose 3 tie breaks, but that's not your fault!

Always an excellent session annually and thoroughly enjoyable. Serves as a refresher and checking of practitioner's knowledge of employment law. Also an interactive, learning and networking activity. One of my favourite sessions.

Enjoyable, friendly, varied and informative session. Suggestion: The winner of a numerical tie breaker should be the individual nearest to within, say, a 100 or 1000. This way the momemtum of the quiz is maintained
