The London HR Connection is delighted to welcome Nebel Crowhurst, Head of People Experience at River Island – and, previously, Head of Culture at Virgin Holidays – as our guest speaker on 26th February.
Nebel will be talking about the innovative direction the company is taking with regard to HR and learning at River Island and, specifically, around some of the new technologies they’re using to support team based agile working. She will be joined by Alistair Shepherd, the founder of Saberr, a company that uses research into team psychology, machine learning and support from the world’s leading academics and team coaches to create software to help design and coach teams to perform at their best.
Nebel Crowhurst leads the people experience agenda at River Island an international fashion retailer. Nebel brings together the recruitment, L&D, reward, culture and engagement strategy spanning 12,000 employees across head office, distribution, UK and international retail stores. She leads a team of multi award winning HR professionals in delivering a progressive people strategy which provides great workplace experiences that in turn supports and enables business success.
An aerospace engineer turned entrepreneur, Alistair founded Saberr following his research at Harvard University looking at why relationships were at the heart of many start-up failures.
During the evening there will be time for networking over drinks and canapes.
